--- Dual-Language ---
I would love to share my experiences in this journey.
It is not so hard to achieve, yet at the same time it is not an overnight road. The journey requires patient, not giving-up, determine & consistent. One more, it is time-consuming too.
Nope, I'm not going to sell or promote any health-products here. In fact, I'm not interested in taking supplements to stay healthy, esp those synthetic supplements which are abundant out there.
I am here to let you know that we can still achieve great health from the ingredients found in the kitchen.
Just wanna share what I did (& still doing it) in this journey. Who knows some of you will get benefits from this sharing.
p/s: I'm not responsible of any misconception that may arise from your readings. I'm not trying to give any medical advises.
Ok, let's start with the first step:
1) Eliminate all sweet drinks from the kitchen cabinet/pantry/fridge:
3-in-1 drinks (Milo, Nescafe, those 'Sunnah'/Bumiputra products, Horlicks, Nestum Cereal Drinks etc), Cordial, Milo (yes, Milo which is not 3-in-1), any prepack drinks, Air Kotak, Soft drinks, Commercial fruit juices (Tropicana, Peel Fresh, Ribena etc).
Reason ---- High sugar content & zero nutrition values.
Hentikan kebiasaan minum air manis semasa makan tengahari/malam. Mak-mak hentikan tabiat bancuh air manis sebelum waktu makan. Hidang sahaja air kosong.
Sebab itulah walaupun kita bancuh Milo kosong, ianya masih lagi sedap! Tambah-tambah kalau ianya pekat.......betul kan?
2) Stop buying commercial frozen food:
Just stop buying it. And you'll be surprised that actually you do not need it to survive day by day.
Again, when there is no supply in the house, our kids won't demand for it.
Dan percayalah, apabila badan kita dah selesa tanpa commercial frozen food, secara automatik kita tak teringin nak beli apatah lagi nak telan benda tu. Tekak tak lalu dah wei !
Begitu juga anak-anak.
3) Say NO to fast food --- KFC, McD, Pizza Hut etc:
What you can do, make a promise to yourself not to eat fast food for a certain time limit. For a start, perhaps you can do it in a month. Once success, increase the duration for example two months. Next, three months. And so on.
Until no more cravings of fast food. Trust me, you'll feel your inner body is clean without fast food.
Practice this 3 simple steps and start now! Don't wait.
I'll share more in the next entry.
Till then, c ya....
Assalamualaikum !
